Thanks for stopping by the ITEC booth!

We are glad you stopped by. This page will provide you with opportunities to learn more about ITEC and training specific to your area of interest.
Who is ITEC?
ITEC develops tools and training programs, trains indigenous Christ-followers, and equips others to do the same both domestically and abroad. Our goal is to eliminate the potential for dependency by partnering with, training alongside, and learning from the indigenous churches.

Watch Session 1 Of The Missions Dilemma

The Missions Dilemma is a 7-session series by Steve Saint that examines the current model of North American missions and compares it to the Biblical approach that Christ modeled for us. Our goal in this series is to provide anyone interested in missions with the opportunity to understand what our role in the Great Commission is, and how that role fits into the larger, global community of Christ-followers.

How is Steve Doing?

The Global Missions Health Conference is one our favorite conferences to attend. It was certainly one of Steve Saint’s as well. With the many friends to keep up with and hear how God is working all over the world. So we know one of the questions most asked of our team will be, ‘How is Steve doing?” So here is a short answer.

He is doing okay. He has good days and bad days, good weeks and bad weeks. His morale is good.

He also gave a personal update…

“At age 70, I am approaching my 10th anniversary as a “High IQ,” (high functioning incomplete Quadraplegic ????). When I’m not bedridden by pain and total lack of energy, I revel in writing, passing on life lessons via Skype, rehabbing homes for ITEC, and being a grand-father-mentor to our 20 grands. And, I get to live with my favorite person/nurse/wife. Life is wonderful and then I get to die into real life. Yeah!”

Steve Saint Speaking at GMHC

Filmed live at the Global Missions Health Conference in Louisville, KY on November 8th, 2013.

Steve Saint uses insights from his experiences in dependency, since his accident last year, to illustrate the lessons he has learned on the mission field. Steve explains how instead of participating in the re-habilitation of a people, by letting them do things for themselves so they can grow, we often engage in de-habilitation, through doing things for people so that they don’t have a voice.
