What is ITEC's Mission?

What could possibly bring engineers, doctors, nurses, pilots, mechanics, and media professionals under one roof? The first answer to this question is simple: The Gospel of Jesus Christ and a common Father who has uniquely gifted and called a diverse group of people to Central Florida. The second answer to this question is a bit more complex.

It is common to start explaining what ITEC does by mentioning a portable dental chair, training programs, or maybe a flying car. While God has opened the door for us to develop some unique things, we ultimately need to ask an important question, "Why develop these things?"

It all goes back to ITEC's mission statement. What we do is ultimately filtered by the mission God has given to us. Our mission can be boiled down into three basic umbrellas:

We develop tools and training systems to equip indigenous Christ-followers all over the world to help accomplish one goal: To spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples that make disciples in all corners of the world (Matthew 28:18-20). We do this by partnering with and equipping local churches and missionaries with basic skills that can open new doors to share the Gospel. The indigenous Christ-followers know the culture, they know the people, and they can continue their ministry long after we return to the US.
