What comes to mind when you hear the word 'missions'?
Is it a third world country? An unreached people group? A missionary sharing stories from the field at your church?
What about your local community?
As the ITEC Team continues to press forward in developing tools and training to empower Christ-followers to meet the needs of people in their communities, the local mission field is not overlooked.
In 2015, ITEC developed a short film entitled "Trapped", created as a tool to promote the option of life for pregnant women seeking counsel at a local women's pregnancy center in Central Florida.
The 19-minute film tells the story of a teenager as she wrestles with an unexpected pregnancy. The goal was to make this film available to other pregnancy centers to be used as a resource in their ministry to young women.
More Recently, another film entitled "Trapped" - a pro-choice documentary - was released in selected theaters, communicating a message much different from that put forth by ITEC.
We have set a link for ITEC's film below. Please watch and share with your friends, family, and local church. It was developed as a tool to be used by anyone who desires to communicate hope and life to young women and couples struggling with difficult situations and decisions. If you would like more information about using the film for an event, getting a copy on DVD, or personalizing it for your ministry please contact the ITEC Team.
There is a need for the body of Christ to continue looking out on the mission field, both locally and abroad, and continue living out the call of every disciple of Jesus - the Great Commission.
Thanks for following ITEC as we continue to develop these tools and trainings for the advancement God's Kingdom here on earth.
