The Need To Train

The line of patients is almost always longer when the medical team leaves than when they had arrived. This is a common occurrence when medical teams from the West serve in developing countries.

What if basic medical care training could be given to Christ followers in local churches in remote areas with no access or limited access to medical care? What if local Christ followers could be the first line of care to handle basic health problems and recognize more serious issues?

Tom McKechnie founded Teach to Transform, an organization focused on training indigenous Christ followers with medical skills to meet the needs of people in their own community as a door opener to share the Gospel.
