Revisit the Approach In Short-Term Missions

In this week's Mission Minute, we are challenged by Umal, a Ugandan medical clinician, who has personal experience with being on the receiver's end of short-term trips, to consider whether or not we are willing to refine our approach to short-term missions. It is easy to fall into a habit of planning short-term trips without first listening to the needs and concerns of those who are in the field receiving teams. Even though these trips are planned with the best intentions, the teams can often leave behind many challenges. Are we willing to listen to those on the field who are receiving our teams?
