ITEC UAV Presented to Missions Aviation Community

What if it were possible to deliver urgently needed medical supplies to rural locations, without an airstrip, airplane, or even a pilot.

Recently the ITEC Team had the privilege of presenting one of our latest tools, the UAV System, at the IAMA Mission Aviation Conference in North Carolina. The UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) was well received as a possible complementary tool for aviation ministries to deliver small urgently needed items in remote areas, rain or shine / night and day.

The presentation included an overview of the tool's capabilities, including autonomous flight and landing, in-flight payload drop, and mission planning based on satellite imagery. The team also explained how this tool fits into ITEC's vision, and showed a short video giving a glimpse of possible application.

Feedback at the conference was positive, and we hope to see partnership opportunities arise in the future with the missions aviation community.

The UAV Project's Current Status

There is currently a turn-key UAV System and training available for field implementation. This unit is capable of traveling 60 miles while carrying a small payload. As seen in our videos, this flying-wing design is being used by one operator abroad and the team is looking to train more.

The team is also working on refining and testing new possibilities for the UAV, including increased payloads and video reconnaissance capabilities.

As these tests continue and steps are taken towards broader implementation in the field, we're asking for your prayers. Please pray specifically that this tool finds its way to the right people in the right locations, and for continued financial support.

Applications for the UAV

The possibilities with UAVs in the mission field are vast. One of the clearest opportunities is delivering urgently needed medical supplies late in the day or in adverse flying conditions. Watch the video below showcasing this life-saving application.
