How We Multiply

Two years ago we asked a Christian consultant to walk alongside our team to put systems into place that allowed us to celebrate where we were doing well, as well as addressing areas that needed growth. She challenged me to think of a word or short phrase for the year. The word for 2024 was “Together.” For 2025, the word is “Relationship.” You can be together without relationship, but when you are in relationship, you must be together.

As I pondered and prayed about a word for 2026, one word stood out that will help to define the next few years: Multiply. When we walk together in relationship, the result is multiplication. This is the mission that Jesus gave to his followers: go and make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20) that will make disciples who make disciples (2 Timothy 2:2). It was a strategy to multiply followers of Jesus around the world.

At ITEC, we give indigenous disciples of Jesus training and tools that will give them access to unreached people groups. Our trainings allow them to meet people’s felt needs as a door opener for the gospel. We are also training many of these trainees to become trainers so that even the trainings multiply without our participation.

We also multiply by equipping churches to incorporate training into their mission strategy, walking alongside them as they learn how to train in cross-cultural settings until they can do trainings on their own. As we end 2025, we invite you to join us as we seek to multiply the mission of equipping indigenous Christ followers for meaningful participation in His Great Commission. This is only possible as you pray for us, share this mission with your church, join us in a training, or come alongside us financially.

As we begin 2026, let’s seek to multiply followers of Jesus together!
