Dental Care Leads to a New Church Plant

An Update By a Previous ITEC Dental Trainee

Greetings from the field, and I am grateful to share this update with you.

ITEC- and mPower-trained dental workers are serving alongside evangelists. They are reaching refugees and migrants. As they provide much-needed dental care, relationships form, hearts open, and several families have placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

These new believers have begun gathering as a new church community. What began as physical healing has, by God's grace, led to spiritual healing and new life in Christ. This integrated mission approach is proving effective in this setting.

A simple bamboo house now serves as both a dental clinic and a worship space—a living symbol of compassionate service and faith in action.
