Are There Any Questions?

The CEO of a company that sold automobile radar detectors (fuzz busters) was asked to give a state of the company speech at the annual stock-holders meeting. Being a man of few words, this is what he said:

"Millions of years ago dinosaurs roamed the earth. They died, got covered by dirt and turned into oil. A few years ago, OPEC limited the supply of oil. Our government reduced speed limits, and we started selling radar detectors. Are there any questions?"

Two and a half decades ago some Amazonian friends asked me why foreign God-followers liked to do and do for people like them but didn't want to teach them to do and do for their own people. We started ITEC. Are there any questions?

Yes, there are two primary questions:

1. What is ITEC's objective?

It is to Develop, Train, and Equip Christ-followers to care for the physical and spiritual needs of their own people and their neighbors and to Equip others to do the same.

2. Who is ITEC?

ITEC is a growing team of highly talented and amazingly motivated developers, trainers and equippers, (staff and volunteers), undergirded by a growing, generous family of financial supporters.

I want to personally thank all of you for your critical role in making this vision, born in the Amazon that is now spreading in the Americas, Africa, Asia, Island nations, with flickers in Australia and Europe.

P.S. Covid is creating challenges, but it is also demonstrating one of Christ's Commission fundamentals. The call is not for a few elite to share the Gospel everywhere. It is for a few to train a few more to train many more, to reach everyone everywhere. The secret is making disciples who can make disciples who make disciples.
